The 50-year-old was traveling in the town of Liebenstein towards Maxldorf. In a right-hand bend there was gravel on the road over a short section and the motorcycle driver fell.
A car driver following behind found the victim lying next to the road and started the rescue chain. After initial treatment, the 50-year-old from the Freistadt district was flown to hospital in the “Christophorus 10” emergency medical helicopter.
