A missing hiker was found dead on Sunday in Bad Gastein in Salzburg. The 71-year-old local went on a hike towards Graukogel on Saturday and did not return home. On Sunday the area was combed by 20 mountain rescuers, five dog handlers and the Alpine police. Around noon, three hikers discovered the man’s body. According to mountain rescue, he probably succumbed to cardiovascular failure on Saturday.
