Once a year, on this “working day”, the mill comes to life. This clearly shows which mechanical work processes set the four meter high mill wheel, the diesel engines and the steam engines in motion. There are demonstrations in the mill and in the sawmill, the so-called Venetian saw. The historic diesel engines and steam engines are in operation. The Furthmühle revives the old working world of a mill and saw from the period from 1900 to the 1960s. Those interested in mills will learn the path “From Grain to Bread”.
