The spatial planning process has already been completed and preparations for building permits are underway. In connection with the hotel, a chalet village is also to be built in the Krippenbrunn area, and a cable car is to connect the village with the planned hotel.
Planners from all over the world would be interested in the project, Obertraun’s mayor Egon Höll (SP) told ORF. The central question is the energy supply; a new investor is needed for the huts in the entire Dachstein area.
