The 64-year-old had been missing since the night. A rescue dog finally discovered the slightly injured person in the bushes. A police helicopter, drones and law enforcement service dogs were also used in the search. The woman probably fell and was no longer able to get up on her own, reported Stefan Tucek from Rescue Dogs Lower Austria.
Using scent carriers, i.e. personal belongings of the missing people, the Mantrailer dogs were used to record and follow the trail. The woman from the Krems district was given first aid and handed over to the emergency services.
