The returns of National Health Fund (Fonasa) will begin from today until the 22nd of this month where the Social Security Bank (BPS) of the Uruguay It will disburse 172 million dollars to 152,000 users with incomes greater than 95,200 nominal pesos.
The president of Fonasa, Alfredo Cabrera, reported that 6.5 billion pesos – about 172 million dollars – will be returned to 152,000 users starting today. Meanwhile, for those who have not yet received the refund by calendar, they will be able to consult on the agency’s website – those users who are registered –, through the Online services whether they have a balance in favor or not. On the other hand, if you have a registered user on the BPS website, the query can be made by telephone through the telephone 0800 2016 or by the number of Fonasa WhatsApp at 092 366 272.
These are workers “who during 2022 received an average income greater than 95,200 nominal pesos and those retirees or pensioners who acquired, on average, monthly income greater than 103,000 nominal pesos,” states the presidential statement.

In this case, it will be paid between September 18 and 22 “according to the last digit of the identity card, according to a schedule that will be available on the agency’s website.” This information was also confirmed by the acting president of the BPS, Daniel Graffigna.
