Between Friday, September 15 and Sunday, September 17, some 86,604 people left the country, according to data from the National Immigration Directorate (DNM) and of the National Migration Directorate of Argentina.


He General Artigas International Bridge of Paysandu registered the largest movement of the weekend, totaling 20,899 people, representing 24.13% of the total. The Paysandú bridge was followed by the port of Colognewith a total of 17,235 people who crossed by boat – with a percentage of 19.90% of the total number of people who left the country –, and, in third place, is the International Bridge of Big Jumpthrough which some 15,646 travelers crossed towards Argentina, representing 18.07% of the total.

To a lesser extent, some 1,230 people left through Rio Branco (Long Hill), and about 1,011 through Rivera, all of them destined for Brazil. In turn, some 1,442 people left the country through other points of the national territory.
