Amazon Prime Video released the trailer for the second season of the Argentine Amazon Original series, Iosi, the repentant spy.
The second season of Iosi, the repentant spy will premiere on October 27 exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
What the second season of Iosi, the repentant spy is about
This season of the series addresses the attack on the AMIA building, the bloodiest terrorist attack in the history of Argentina, which left hundreds of people dead or injured, while we find our protagonist Iosi still on the run and determined to speak publicly with the help of a famous journalist, when the Israeli intelligence services ask her to investigate the greatest Argentine military secret: the Condor missile.
The cast includes Natalia Oreiro (Almost Dead, Santa Evita), Gustavo Bassani (Argentina, Land of Love and Revenge, Signs of the End of the World), Mercedes Morán (Maradona: Blessed Dream, The Kingdom), Alejandro Awada (History of a Clan, Nine Queens), Carla Quevedo (Monzón, The Secret of Their Eyes), Marco Antonio Caponi (El Tigre Verón, Nobody Looks at Us), Matias Mayer (Barrabrava, An Argentine Crime), Homemade Minerva (Argentina, Land of Love and Revenge, Simona), Damian Dreizik (Crazy About You, The Forgotten Ones) and Cesar Troncoso (The Night of 12 Years, December 2001), with special appearances by Moran Rosenblatt (Fauda, Hit & Run) and Itzik Cohen (Fauda).
Iosi, the repentant spy is produced by Burman Office (THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO), an award-winning team led by series creator and showrunner Daniel Burman (Cecilia, Little Victoria). He also shares directing credits with Sebastián Borensztein (Giles’ Odyssey, A Chinese Tale), who is also lead screenwriter, and with Martin Hodara (The Signal).
