“Why don’t men go through menopause?” complains the 53-year-old in the new documentary “The Super Models,” from which “People” magazine quotes. She believes she is currently in a preliminary stage of menopause, the time of her last menstrual period. When she feels like she’s “just stepped into an oven,” Campbell said, no one can help her.
“One minute I’m fine. The next minute it’s just this oven coming on.” The four-part documentary “The Super Models,” which explores the careers of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington, will air on Apple TV+ from September 20th. Before Campbell, other prominent women had reported on their personal experiences with menopause, including Hollywood star Salma Hayek (57) and the former First Lady of the USA, Michelle Obama (59).
