The lawyer, who worked at a bank after studying and has been teaching economics and law in vocational secondary schools for years, is now director of the Linz technical center, the HTL on Paul-Hahn-Straße.
In the OÖN podcast “Money & Life” with the head of the economics department Dietmar Mascher, Anja Weiermann explains how financial education can work from her point of view, what support is available from the employer and what role the practical relevance of the teachers plays in this. “I have integrated the OÖNachrichten and Raiffeisen stock market game into my lessons for a long time now.”
In addition, it is also about her new role as headmistress with around 200 teachers and more than 1,200 students in the areas of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology.
