Under the motto “Take the future into your own hands, plant your own tree” 30 students from the Schlierbach Stiftsgymnasium turned theory into practice: They took part in the OÖN campaign “Our forest. 100,000 trees for Upper Austria” took an active part and planted 30 Douglas firs, which were provided by the OÖN and its partners.
This is just one example of many. The campaign has also met with a great response from readers: more than 1,100 subscribers have already taken on tree sponsorships; in total, including partners and sponsors, there are now almost 25,000. You too can support the campaign nachrichten.at/wald
