“There needs to be a rapid implementation of equal pay and the EU wage transparency directive,” says Klaudia Frieben, the chairwoman of the Austrian Women’s Ring, in an interview with OÖN TV. She advocates significant sanctions for companies that pay women and men different wages for the same work. “But we also need a debate about the reevaluation of work,” says Frieben.
