The magic of an evening can also lie in the fact that you are not quite sure how those on stage do what looks like magic. The magicians have had their fixed place, even their fixed day, at the Kultur Hof in Linz’s Ludlgasse for a long time. “Magic Monday”, designed by the two magicians Philipp Ganglberger and Wolfgang Moser, has become a hit. “You regularly enchant our audience on Mondays in a very charming way,” said managing director Wolfgang Pfeiffer, who has long since acquired a taste for them.

Given the popularity, it made sense to expand the offering, and so November is a magical month at the Kultur Hof for the first time this year. Starting November 6th, magic will be happening on four Mondays in November. The offering ranges from young and unconventional “magic artists” such as Queen of Hearts or Florian B. (November 6th) to internationally renowned artists such as Rene Mazing (November 13th) and Thomas Fraps (November 20th). Fraps serves a special evening, as its program combines philosophy, psychology and physics with magic. Not only does it sound exciting, it is also as Pfeiffer promises.
At the end of the magical month, there will be a revival of the Magic Mushrooms on November 27th with Wolfgang Moser, Philipp Ganglberger, Tricky Niki and Harry Lucas. It starts at 8 p.m., tickets and information at www.kultur-hof.at
