Uruguay will host the III Forum of Latin America and Israel organized by the Movement to Fight Anti-Semitism (CAMfor its acronym in English), which will focus on the debate on hate speech and anti-Semitism in the context of the war between Israel and Hamas.
On November 7, the III Forum of Latin America and Israel will begin, which this year will be held in Montevideo and Punta del Estewith the participation of panelists from different countries, including Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Panama, United States and Spain. That day, when the opening dinner of the internationally renowned event will be held —with the presence of the vice president Beatriz Argimón—, It will also be the 30th day since the attacks perpetrated by the organization considered terrorist. This context is what will be analyzed during the forum in Uruguay, brought to the Latin American stage in particular.

According to the Center, this number means 50% of the numbers recorded throughout last year.
The presentations will take place on November 8, and will include the participation of more than 17 experts and invited panelists from different countries in the Center and South of America, United States, Spain and Israel, in addition to legislators from ten countries.
The Foreign Ministry’s condemnation of the attacks and the taking of hostages
The government of Uruguay once again condemned “the attacks against the life and integrity of civilians”, as well as “the taking of hostages” by the organization considered terrorist Hamas in the middle of the war with Israel that has been going on for almost three weeks.
