Laakirchen invested in an emergency generator for water supply

In the event of a prolonged power outage, the pumps required for this would fail, and water shortages would result.

That’s why the municipality has now purchased a mobile emergency generator that can be used at various pumping locations in an emergency. Thanks to a 250 liter fuel tank, the unit can run for eight hours. In addition, a reserve tank with 400 liters of fuel was purchased. “Maintaining the water supply for the population in an emergency is a top priority,” says Mayor Fritz Feichtinger (SPÖ).
