Monday, 1 p.m., Mauthausen. A 15-year-old on a moped is stopped for a driver and vehicle inspection. At first it was the condition of the moped that drew the police officers’ attention to the boy. But the 15-year-old soon attracted the attention of the officers himself. Police say he behaved uncooperatively and arrogantly. This made the officers suspicious and they asked the young person to take a preliminary alcohol test – which, however, came back negative. But because he showed clear symptoms of impairment, a rapid drug test was also carried out on the boy. It turned out positive. Further clinical examination clearly revealed drug impairment and unfitness to drive.
The boy has temporarily lost his moped driving license. It is displayed.
