What does the energy and greenhouse gas balance look like in your own company? Companies should be able to check this with a new online platform in the state.
The “Öko-Check-Portal” presented today, Thursday, lists direct and indirect carbon dioxide emissions (such as fossil fuels for heating or business trips with company-owned vehicles), said State Economic Councilor Markus Achleitner and Energy Saving Association managing director Gerhard Dell at a press conference.
Companies received insights into energy use and individual processes and products. The platform on the Energy Saving Association website is free. The creation of energy balances affects many companies because from 2024 an EU directive on sustainability reporting will also apply to large companies.
