On social media and their platforms, people are increasingly confronted with hate comments and the like, which also have an impact on real life – especially from children and young people. How one could deal with this is the subject of the piece “JUNGLE. CyberHurt/ Bytes & Pieces”, which premieres on Wednesday, November 15th at 7 p.m. in the Circus of Knowledge at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU).
In the piece for people aged 13 and over, the well-known Viennese rap duo EsRAP – the siblings Esra and Enes Özmen – together with actress Barbara Novotny and dancer Lucia Mauri search for a way through the jungle of bullying, body shaming, Prejudice and cyber hate.
There are further performances on Saturday, November 18th and Monday, November 20th at 3 p.m. Additional dates are offered for school classes. Entry is based on donations. Due to limited space, please register at jku.at/circus-des-wissens.
