Kepplinger worked in state politics from 2003 to 2012. As a state councilor, he was responsible for savings banks, housing subsidies, traffic, animal protection and administrative police. Most recently, he was chairman of the GWG supervisory board from 2016 to 2020.
“With the deceased, the state capital of Linz has lost a deserving politician and manager who made extraordinary contributions as a state councilor and finance director.
