Around 120,000 people in Upper Austria look after their relatives in need of care at home. This group therefore not only forms the largest nursing service in Austria, but also a supporting pillar of our nursing system.
The “Forum for Caring Relatives”, which is initiated jointly by Caritas Oberösterreich and OÖNachrichten, is dedicated to precisely this clientele and their questions and concerns on Wednesday, November 29th. You will receive information from experts for everyday life and answers to long-overdue questions.
In three rounds of discussions, the needs and concerns of politicians as well as financial and legal tips for care allowance and how to deal with dementia are discussed. In addition to State Councilor for Social Affairs Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer (VP), Caritas director Franz Kehrer, lawyer Wolfgang Stütz and nursing experts will also take a seat on the podium.
The forum will also be broadcast online via live stream.
- The “Forum for Caring Relatives” will take place on November 29, 2023 in the OÖNachrichten-Forum (Promenade 25, 4010 Linz).
- Time: 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., entry is free.
