Scharnsteiner ASMAG continues to expand and takes over German group

The successful Scharnstein-based mechanical engineering company ASMAG, manufacturer of systems for the production of bars, tubes and profiles, has taken over the REIKA company based in Hagen (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company, founded in 1906, also supplies tube producers and steel bar processors worldwide.

ASMAG speaks of a “significant step in the expansion strategy”. The integration of REIKA products expands the ASMAG product portfolio and contributes to strengthening the market position. “We value the know-how that the company brings with it over 100 years in existence and are convinced that we will further strengthen our position as a leading company in the industry,” says Johann Vielhaber, founder and owner of the ASMAG Group .

ASMAG is not disclosing any details about the costs of the takeover.
