The Netflix production “nothing new in the West” by director Edward Berger about the First World War is based on a novel by Erich Maria Remarque (1898-1970). The film won four Oscars at this year’s Academy Awards.
The “Bambi”was awarded again on Thursday for the first time after a three-year Corona break – in a gala in the Bavaria Studios near Munich. The Bambi is awarded by Hubert Burda Media and is one of the most important media and television awards in Germany. It has been around since 1948. This year marks its 75th birthday.
