The mayor of the department of Artigas and member of the National Party (PN), Pablo Caramwas admitted in the last few hours to an intensive care center (ITC) after fainting, apparently due to complications derived from digestive bleeding.
The nationalist was hospitalized this Thursday presenting an anemic condition due to bleeding, according to information from El País, but remains stable after his admission to intensive therapywhere they are currently monitoring their health status.
Authorities from the Municipality of Artigas informed the press that the departmental leader was already suffering from some intestinal problems, which were not treated in time by a doctor, something that apparently led to the appearance of an ulcer.
