The five-door model is currently available with an electric or gasoline engine. At the beginning of December, a mild hybrid drive with 48-volt technology expanded the model range.
The drive of the Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid consists of a three-cylinder gasoline engine with 74 kW/100 hp, lithium-ion battery and six-speed dual-clutch transmission, in which a 21 kW electric motor and an inverter are integrated. The vehicle can cover very short distances purely electrically. Jeep claims 15 percent less fuel consumption compared to a classic gasoline engine with an automatic.
Also new to the Avenger are the glass sliding roof and seats with massage functions.
