VIVAG AG wants to turn the former agricultural school into a nursing school. Today, the advisory board of Landes-Immobilien GmbH (LIG) is discussing the sale.
After State Councilor Stefan Kaineder (Greens), State Councilor Michael Lindner (SP) also announced that he would not agree to the sale. The selling price appears to be significantly too low given “the excellent location of the area,” says Lindner. For him, it was “not transparent enough how this sum came about.” The announced nursing school project also raises further questions for him: “It sounds to me as if private providers are entering the nursing sector through the back door,” says Lindner. Kaineder criticizes the fact that the buyer is “a consortium of obscure stock corporations and foundations.”
