Ready for a new love? Amira Pocher underestimated the “outside perception”. The 31-year-old revealed that she was “ready for a new love” in the last episode of her new podcast “Liebes Leben” (exclusively on Podimo). She didn’t expect the reaction that followed. The fact that she wanted to fall in love again “so quickly” after separating from husband Oliver Pocher irritated many people. Including her ex, who reacted quite angrily to the confession of love.
When making her statement, she did not consider that the public had only known since August that she and Oliver Pocher were separated. “We have been unofficially separated for a long time,” said the podcaster. “It feels like I’ve been separated for a year.”
It took time for Amira to “really give up” on her relationship. The time before the separation wasn’t easy, because a love ending like this doesn’t happen overnight, explains Amira. “Then there’s a decoupling phase, which takes time. This process until you really give up. You do that because hope dies. And, when hope dies, love dies at some point.”
But they should be the last words about their failed relationship. This will no longer be an issue in her podcast, as the mother of two emphasizes: “But I still won’t do that. That was the first and last time.” That’s just not her way of dealing with such things. “I have now told a fraction and that should be enough for now.”
