The Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP) confirmed the infection of new animals and alarms are going off in the sector.

Meanwhile, horses from those properties that have a particular health certificate issued by a Free Practice Veterinarian, of which it is stated that they were vaccinated at least 15 days prior to the date of boarding and that they do not present nervous symptoms or elevated temperature, while concentrations of horses that have the presence of a Free Exercise Veterinarian responsible for the event are also authorized.

Anyway, the MGAP echoed the reports of official veterinarians who visited the establishments and highlighted that “a high percentage of recovery is observed with treatment recommended by veterinary professionals.” However, the epidemiological situation continues to be monitored.
