Hörl celebrates its first individual victory in Wisla

The 23-year-old prevailed on Sunday in Wisla in the large hill competition with jumps on 121 and 128 m and 261.9 points ahead of the Norwegian Marius Lindvik (255.2) and his compatriot Stefan Kraft (253.6). In the fifth individual competition of the season, it worked out with the first victory of an Austrian in the World Cup.

It was also the first individual success since February 28, 2020 in Lahti, when Kraft won. The day before, the ÖSV team had already won the team competition in Wisla. “That feels very good. It was difficult, but it’s my first victory, I don’t know what to say,” said Hörl from Salzburg in the first interview with the FIS.

Manuel Fettner landed in 16th place (232.8 points), Philipp Aschenwald on 18 (232.1), Daniel Huber on 22 (224.5), Daniel Tschofenig on 23 (222.9).
