Because the 2-year-old daughter had unbuckled her seatbelt while driving, a 36-year-old from the Steyr-Land district wanted to stop in a breakdown bay on the B309 expressway to buckle the girl up again. However, he hit an SOS telephone box and a road sign in the breakdown bay. The girl was slightly injured in the collision and was taken to hospital. The driver, his wife (34) and the girl’s 4-year-old sibling remained uninjured.
