The exchange with and among our readers has been an essential part of nachrichten.at since our website was founded. With our (technical) innovations, publishing opinion pieces is now even easier and following the discussion has become even clearer.
For a better overview, the individual comments are now graphically highlighted. Replies to an opinion piece become even clearer by appearing more offset below the original posting.
Transparency and straightforwardness are the focus. This makes the constructive exchange between our readers much easier.
Old doesn’t automatically mean outdated
What has proven itself over the years is of course still available on nachrichten.at: the convenient sorting function is still available. As usual, choose between the newest posts, the oldest posts and those that have received the best ratings among users.
Respectful interaction for a pleasant discussion atmosphere
We are aware that where fundamental matters are being discussed, things can get heated. The personal perspectives and opinions of those who visit and read us every day allow nachrichten.at to continually grow. The set of rules on which the debates on nachrichten.at are based must therefore be dynamic and evolve.
The forum guidelines have therefore been improved and made more specific in order to continue to ensure a pleasant discussion environment for all users. You can read what has changed in the regulations here.
