Associations and non-profit organizations have until March 3rd to submit their ideas to the Sparkasse Mühlviertel-West “Startklar” project. Due to the enormous interest last year, the leading bank in the western Mühlviertel is supporting a charitable project or purchase for the second time with an amount of 10,000 euros.
Jury is set
“The “Startklar” project is aimed at all associations and non-profit institutions in the SMW catchment area that want to implement social projects and need financial support for this,” said SMW CEO Christian Terink at the jury presentation. Small clubs and non-profit organizations are also encouraged to submit their ideas. In 2024, the aspect of “volunteering” will be particularly important in the evaluation. A high level of voluntary commitment therefore brings advantages in the evaluation and is rewarded particularly positively. A jury made up of representatives from the SMW, the supervisory board, the district administration and social organizations decides which three projects make it to the final round based on transparent evaluation criteria.
The jurors are: Christian Terink and Gerhard Usleber from the board of Sparkasse Mühlviertel-West, district captain Valentin Pühringer, mayor Dominik Reisinger from the SMW supervisory board, Markus Obermüller from the Mühlviertler Hochland tourism association, Rita Schlagnitweit from the Arcus social network, mayor Nicole Leitenmüller as well as Roland Straußberger and Jakob Peherstorfer from Sparkasse Mühlviertel-West.
The selected finalists then have the opportunity to impress the jury and increase their points account for the prize money by voting online for the recorded presentations.
