Around 100 emergency services from a total of 13 fire departments fought the fire on the farm on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday, an expert from the Upper Austria fire prevention office found the cause of the fire: a heat lamp that was installed for a sick calf had fallen and came into contact with the bedding.

The stable was damaged, but around 70 cows were able to move back in.
