A 33-year-old woman from Wels was driving her car south on Vogelweiderstrasse in the Oberthan district of Wels around 5 p.m. When the woman wanted to turn left onto Dimlergutstrasse, she may have overlooked the motorcyclist.
The 50-year-old from the Grieskirchen district crashed his machine into the car. The man fell and remained lying next to the car. He suffered such serious injuries in the accident that he died at the scene.
