It’s an evening that has already become a tradition: the Gstanzlsingen in the Sepp-Öler-Halle in Mattighofen. This year the tenth birthday is being celebrated – and again with top-class guests: On Saturday, February 24th, in addition to the Citoller Geigenmusi from Styria and “de Junga Oidbairisch” from the Augsburg area, the distinctive local heroes, the Aspacher Tridoppler, will also be joining us again Mattighofen. “Frontman” Pepi Wimmleitner will lead the evening in his usual funny manner. Mayor Daniel Lang (VP) and his predecessor Friedrich Schwarzenhofer (SP) will probably dig into their pockets again this year to donate beer for the musicians: After all, nobody wants to risk bad reputation in a Gstanzl.
What began as an experiment has now become an integral part of the event calendar. The Gstanzlsingen was always sold out. Tickets are likely to be in short supply this year too. If you want to be there, you can buy them at Oberbank Mattighofen or from all Lions Mattigtal members. By the way, this year we’re once again laughing for a good cause: the proceeds from Gstanzlsingen will be used to support people from the region.
Speaking of people from the region: The Lions Mattigtal are once again providing free tickets for the residents of the Mattighofen retirement home.
Mattighofner Gstanzlsingen, this year on Saturday, February 24th, 7:30 p.m., in the Sepp-Öler-Halle. Tickets for the event are available at Oberbank Mattighofen and from all Lions Club Mattigtal members.
