Nußbach made it to the top of the table with two wins

After a bumpy start to the season, the women of Union Haidlmair Nußbach fought their way back to the top of the table. In the penultimate round of the indoor fistball Bundesliga, the team led by captain Katharina Lackinger celebrated a 3-0 win against Laakirchen. Froschberg Linz was then defeated 3-1.

“We are very happy,” said defender Iris Mayr. “Since we have even taken the lead in the table, there can only be one goal left: the final.”

The defending champions from Kremstal will have a test run for this on Saturday from 11 a.m. in the Kirchdorf town hall. The pursuers Freistadt and Arnreit are guests in the last lap of the basic round. The final 3 of the three best women’s teams in Austria follows on the 23rd/24th. February in Enns.
