Pope Francis on female inclusion in the Church
“We must demasculinize the Church. By truly listening to women, we men listen to someone who sees reality from another perspective and thus we are led to review our projects, our priorities,” the pontiff stated in the preface written to the book “Demasculinizing the Church”which compiles the views of theologians on the subject and was published this week in Rome.

“Sometimes we are lost. Sometimes what we hear is so new, so different from our way of thinking and seeing, that it seems absurd to us and we feel intimidated. But this disorientation is healthy, it makes us grow,” added Pope in the writing which is subtitled “Critical comparison of the Principles of HU Von Balthasar”, in reference to the theologian who analyzed the feminine dimension of the Church.
