On Sunday around 5:30 a.m., a taxi driver reported loose horses on the Hartforst state road L1055 between Burgkirchen and St. Peter am Hart. When the officers tried to catch the animals, they left the road and ran away across grassland towards the Braunau community.

At the same time, a 32-year-old driver from the Braunau district happened to be passing by. The woman contacted her friend and after about an hour the two women managed to catch one of the animals and lock it up with a horse owner at the sandy place there. About half an hour later, the second horse, which was still free, came to the paddock and was also caught.

Just completed the entrance exam

Thanks to the professional support of the two women, the animals were handed over to the owner unharmed. As it later turned out, the 32-year-old had just successfully completed the police entrance exam and will begin her training shortly.
