With a 3-0 win at the Roadrunners Vienna, the men picked up another three points and secured a place in the championship playoffs. After their sensational win against the Hotvolleys from Vienna, the Mühlviertlers were also able to defeat the Roadrunners 32:30 in the third set after an exciting comeback. Above all, the confident reception around libero Florian Pichler and the middle block with Fabio Gaisrucker and Noah Erlinger were convincing.
The celebration was even bigger on Sunday after the 3-2 win against Waldviertel/2. This meant that coach Günther Froschauer’s team moved up to fourth place in the table. The last home game of the regular season will follow next Saturday against VC Mils.
