The sold-out ball is the second under the direction of Bogdan Roščić. This year the head of state is represented by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, who is hosting his Montenegrin counterpart Jakov Milatović, as well as Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP), who is coming to the event with Estonia’s Prime Minister Kaja Kallas.

High density of celebrities
The density of celebrities is also very high thanks to the German entrepreneur Markus Deussl: actors Franco Nero, bard Heino and comedian Oliver Pocher with his ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden take their seats in his box. According to the ÖAMTC, the ring between Johannesgasse and Operngasse and Kärntner Straße between Karlsplatz and Opernring will be closed from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. for the festival. The trams on the ring will be briefly routed or diverted at this time.
