At around 7 p.m. the alarm was triggered at a Bd Ischl company that sells sporting goods. When the police officers arrived, massive smoke was already coming out from under the entrance door. The police reported this in a broadcast on Thursday.

The fire department was notified. Since all entrance doors to the property were locked, the fire department forced open the warehouse entrance door.
Source of fire localized
The warehouse where sporting goods are stored was filled to the ceiling with smoke. However, the fire was quickly brought under control through several targeted extinguishing attacks by the respiratory protection teams.
With the help of a thermal imaging camera, the source of the fire was located in the area of an e-scooter. However, the exact cause of the fire is still unknown and is being investigated by fire experts.
A large part of the inventory burned out completely. Other parts of the company and its inventory were also severely damaged by the smoke.
