67-year-old had a fatal accident while doing forestry work in Bad Aussee

The man deposited felled tree trunks on a sloping meadow and continued his work on a forest road below. When the logs later started rolling and hit the 67-year-old’s upper body, he suffered such serious injuries that he died.

When the man didn’t come home that evening, his wife asked a neighbor to check on him. The neighbor found the accident victim; An emergency doctor who was called could only determine his death.
