He Pope Francisco will visit the Vatican Pavilion at the Venice Biennale on April 28. The most famous art exhibition in the world will have its 60th edition and will be titled “Foreigners Everywhere“, which in Spanish means “foreigners everywhere.”
According to the Holy See, the pontiff will go to the pavilion located “in the women’s prison of Giudecca and will meet the ecclesial community of the Patriarchate of Venice”, which will be dedicated to the theme of human rights.

Francisco will visit Venice in the month of April.
It will be the first time that a pontiff visits the traditional art exhibition in which this year Argentina will be represented by the artist Luciana Lamothe.
Furthermore, according to the description of the place given by the Vatican Dicastery for Culture and Educationthe Pavilion is dedicated to the theme of “human rights and the figure of the last tenants of marginalized worlds, where our gaze rarely reaches.”
The Pavilion of the Holy See will have the collaboration of the Department of Penitentiary Administration of the Ministry of Justicefrom April 20 to November 24, 2024, and will be held in the Giudecca women’s prison with the title “With my eyes.”
The meeting between Pope Francis and Javier Milei
The President of the Nation Javier Milei met with the Pope in the Vatican. The first private meeting between the two took place in el Apostolic Palace and it lasted one hour.
The president arrived at San Damasus Courtyard of the Vatican at 8:57 local time, where he was received by the person in charge of the Prefecture of the Pontifical Household, Leonardo Sapienza. From there he went to the Library on the second floor, where he was received by Father Rodrigo, a monsignor from the Secretariat of State who is in charge of organizing the entry and exit of guests at the audiences of Francisco.
