The club was founded by Wilhelm and Stefan Glaser, a father-son team living on Traunuferstrasse. For a year now, the club members have been sharing the green electricity produced. After the trial operation has been completed, the club wants to expand and is inviting interested citizens to join in. Anyone who is supplied by the Wels-Mitte substation can take part. In addition to the financial aspect, the association has primarily ecological motives for supporting the energy transition. The city provides a subsidy from environmental funding.
