At around 2:45 p.m., a 41-year-old German from the Schärding district drove his car from a parking lot onto the B149 towards Suben. A 33-year-old, also from the district, who was traveling towards Suben with her 10-year-old daughter in the passenger seat, tried to avoid the car turning into the street in front of her, but was unable to do so, it is said the police: There was a rear-end collision. The 33-year-old and the 10-year-old girl suffered unspecified injuries and were taken to hospital.
An alcohol test on the German was positive: he had 1.06 per mille of alcohol in his blood. The man’s driver’s license was temporarily taken away and he was forbidden to continue driving.
