The Bavarian Police Orchestra will be performing at the Loryhof in Wippenham on Saturday, March 2nd. Karl Rauscher’s concert gala, which is taking place for the ninth time, is organized by the Wippenham Music Association. Chief conductor Johann Mösenbichler and his 45 professional musicians will perform pieces by Otto M. Schwarz, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Stephen Melillo, the composer of “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, under the title “Swinging Sound Impressions”. In addition, soprano Caroline Adler will delight the guests with arias from Georges Bizet’s romantic opera Carmen.

Concert goers will be treated to culinary delights with a 3-course festive menu served by Loryhof boss Othmar Zeilinger. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. The event opens at 4:30 p.m. with a champagne reception in the courtyard. The festive menu follows from 5:30 p.m. The net proceeds from the event will benefit the youngsters of the Wippenham music band. “I am sure that our concert will leave a lasting impression on the guests,” says Rauscher.

Concert tickets cost 18 euros, the VIP ticket including a fixed menu costs 50 euros, and are available from Karl Rauscher on 0664/4311090 or [email protected].
