The Lower Austria State Criminal Police Office has started an investigation. According to Schwaigerlehner, the suspect was in police custody, as the “NÖN” also reported online.
The police were alerted shortly after 8:30 a.m. The woman was probably killed with a gun in the couple’s home, the spokesman said. The Lower Austria State Criminal Police Office – Body/Life Division and Crime Scene Group – is investigating.
