Matthias Kuchta has been a puppeteer for almost 40 years and is in demand! In March he is coming to Neumarkt at the invitation of the Raml Wirt cultural association to introduce small (and large) theater fans to Hans Christian Anderson’s most famous fairy tale. “Fairy tales are like poems in a concise form; there is so much life experience in them,” says Kuchta. Kuchta and the Lille Kartofler Puppet Theater developed a theater version of the fairy tale of the ugly duckling that captivates the audience for 50 minutes with exciting and cheerful moments.

The stage design and equipment are reduced to the bare essentials. However, the large fabric figures that are used could definitely be people from our neighborhood. Can be seen on Saturday, March 16th at 2 and 4 p.m. in the Neumarkt parish hall. Suitable for people aged 4 and over.
