On the evening of October 24, 2023, a then 20-year-old woman from Linz appeared at the police station and claimed that she had been attacked on Fröbelstrasse by an unknown perpetrator – according to her, he spoke with a “foreign accent”.
What’s more, the alleged victim presented a cut on her stomach that the “1.80 to 1.90 meter tall robber” is said to have inflicted on her. But she was able to call for help, which caused the perpetrator to flee.
The 20-year-old had her injury treated as an outpatient in a hospital.
The alarm search that was initiated immediately could only be unsuccessful because the attack on Fröbelstrasse was a complete invention.
The now 21-year-old confessed to inflicting the stab wound on her stomach with the knife she had previously purchased. Her motive: She wanted to show that the Franckviertel was far too dangerous.
“Perpetrators are not sufficiently prosecuted”
Because she too had already been involved in official acts in which, in her opinion, the accused had not been sufficiently held accountable.
