Last Thursday’s reading day at the Mauthausen public library made people want to read. Kindergarten and elementary school children were able to listen to exciting stories and tales for an hour. As prominent readers, Mayor Thomas Punkenhofer (pictured), fire department commander Thomas Katzlinger and police officer Sandra Cardenas served the good cause and captivated the young audience with books they had selected themselves.
