Red and happy faces among the children in the child care center at the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Klinikum (PEK) Kirchdorf. The little girls and boys were recently able to visit baby sheep on a farm. At first the little ones were a little shy, but after just a few moments they were being fed, petted and cuddled.
Shortly before Easter, the girls and boys from the childcare department at the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Klinikum (PEK) Kirchdorf went on a trip to an organic farm and visited the sweet baby sheep there. The next day, the rascals enthusiastically made and decorated Easter cookies and Easter nests. Now the Easter Bunny can come at any time. In the PEK Kirchdorf company daycare center, a team of childminders looks after children between the ages of one and twelve under the care of the Upper Austrian Family Association. The doors are open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. This year, the PEK, in collaboration with the Upper Austrian Family Association, is offering six weeks of summer childcare for children aged four to twelve. Childcare at work supports parents in their job at the hospital, which in turn benefits the patients.
